Help Sandesh Take manage his health expenses
Today’s fund raiser is classic example of How an educated technocrats come in trap of health and financial crises. With the Economy slowing down and savings rate falling, India’s educated young are getting in a loan traps. Loan defaults are common. Young individuals borrow beyond their capacity to repay, leading to a cycle of escalating debt and therefore unable to bear their Insurance premiums too.
Sandesh Take is a Mechanical engineer and an MBA, Sandesh was working in a MNC organisation. He purchased a flat, and to reduce the burden of his EMI’s he decided to join a new company, with a better salary. November 2023 he was Diagnosed with severe headache and Breathlessness it was observed that his BP rose to 200 + mark. Tests revealed that both of his Kidneys where damaged beyond Repair. He has been on regular dialysis since then. Health issues resulted absence from work and eventually asked to quit his job. Without insurance cover, expenses shot up due to medical treatments and tests.
His brother is kind enough to support his family and other expenses but with limitations. Advised to get a kidney transplant done, Luckily his father, who is physically fit matched his blood group & will be donating his kidney. They have almost completed all the legal and administrative formalities to schedule this kidney transplant. The total expenses for this is around 9 Lakhs (2.5 to operate his father as a Donor and 6.5 to operate the Son).
The family is initiating the process to get some help from CM fund. Out of 9 lakh required they have already raised 2 lakh from their own sources and from relatives. They have requested us to raise whatever we can out of remaining 7 lakh. I like to contribute ₹ 5K for Technocrat to come out of said crises and request you all to come forward.
