Help Lalita and Punam rebuild their home
Lalita Suresh Zingurde, from Dahigaon, Akola has been working as a farm labourer. She lives with her speech and hearing impaired daughter Punam who is 22 years old. Because of her disabilities, Punam is still studying in the 11th standard at a special government school for the speech and hearing impaired.
We had earlier helped Lalita Zingurde by providing her a sewing machine in February 2020. She was very happy and grateful for that help. She started stitching clothes and also started teaching Punam stitching whenever she came home during her vacations.
Unfortunately, Lalita and Punam lost their house in a storm which hit Akola on 18th March 2020. They are now living in a roofless house. For the past few months, all farm work too has stopped due to COVID -19. Lalita and Punam are struggling to even meet their daily needs. And with the rains, their house has now become unlivable. With no earnings, Lalita can’t even repair her home and both Lalita and Punam are sleeping in an open space in another house.
We need your help to urgently repair their 200 sq. ft. house. Details of materials needed:
10 frp tin: Rs. 7000
500 kg iron channel bars: Rs. 27500

The total cost to make Lalita’s home safe and livable again will be only Rs. 64500. Please help us raise these funds so Lalita and Punam can be safe in their own home.
